GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ Officials have delayed the reopening of the Palisades Nuclear Generating Station until early 2026 while maintenance and inspections finish. The 800-megawatt plant along Lake Michigan in Van Buren County was expected to restart in October 2025 but will now open when final safety checks are complete. MLive
