➤ Michigan will raise weekly unemployment benefits to $530 for new claims starting Jan. 1, up from $446, state Labor officials said (LEO). The benefit for each dependent will rise to $19.33 while the maximum 26 weeks of support remains unchanged. WWMT

➤ The Mid-American Conference champion Broncos will play in the Myrtle Beach Bowl & face Kennesaw State University tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Myrtle Beach. This game marks their 13th bowl appearance since their 2021 Quicklane Bowl win against Nevada. WKZO
