- ➤ Kentwood-based HealthBridge Financial announced a West Michigan expansion with a $17.3M investment that will add 200 jobs and create 55,000 sqft of office space in Cascade Township over the next two years; the expansion follows a key healthcare contract and a $1.5M state grant. MLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lakeview Park in Portage earned the American Public Works Association Project of the Year award after a $1.87M renovation added a game pocket, an 810-foot lighted boardwalk and fishing piers — Phase 1 finished in October while future phases will add park rentals, a new entrance and EV charging stations. - ➤ Kalamazoo Metro will add an extra bus on Westnedge Avenue, Gull Road and West Main Street from Monday, Dec. 15 to Thursday, Dec. 24 to help shoppers reach busy retail areas, with buses departing every hour between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. MLive
