Netflix announced that Nobody Wants This, a romantic comedy series featuring Michigan-born Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, is renewed for a third season that will premiere in 2026.
Season 2 premiered on Oct. 23 and reached 18 million global views while topping Netflix’s Global English TV list for two weeks.

As the federal government shutdown continues, education experts warn that Portage college students may face delays in processing new FAFSA applications because fewer federal staff are available—federal student loans and Pell Grants remain funded under mandatory spending.
They advise students to file early and check their campus financial aid portals—applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Western Michigan men's basketball team opened its season with a 76-71 win over Coastal Carolina at University Arena on November 3—ten players scored for the Broncos with Jalen Griffith adding 15 points after the break.
