- ➤ The Crawling is a horror movie co-produced by a Kalamazoo native that filmed this past summer in Jackson County and Kalamazoo using both Hollywood and local talent, and it is now in post-production with an early 2026 release planned. The film stars Will Brittain, Katherine Hughes, and Robert Lewis Stephenson—playing roles that include a disgraced cop and his wife—and features special screenings and festival runs to promote Michigan’s film community.
