- ➤ The Michigan Department of Transportation and Davis Construction have nearly finished rebuilding the US-131 bridges over KL Avenue in Kalamazoo as the northbound bridge was completed earlier this summer—southbound traffic will face a single-lane closure from 7 p.m. today until 3 p.m. Thursday while crews shift lanes, with work this year ending in late November and KL Avenue set to reopen in late summer 2026.
