  • Gold prices have reached nearly $3,800 per ounce, which has drawn more customers to local shops in Portage where owners see more people selling old jewelry and buying gold. Shop owners said the record price is giving families a boost — and it is driving increased gold trading.  WWMT

HEALTH NEWS

  • Zeigler Auto Group hosted the 43rd annual Drive for Life Foundation Gala in Kalamazoo on Thursday to raise over 1 million dollars for cancer research — the event featured live and silent auctions supporting the American Cancer Society and local charities. Organizers said the funds will benefit groups like First Day Shoe Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Make-A-Wish Foundation.  WWMT
