Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 3rd of September.
Good morning, Portage.
🌲 Environment
Dry soil moisture conditions in West Michigan are expected to stress trees so that lower areas show peak fall colors in mid October rather than late October; experts say trees in northern areas will likely display a normal, bright fall season—reflecting the impact of low moisture levels.
🏥 Health
Bronson Healthcare has changed the names of its walk-in centers so that patients know the right place to go.
The centers are now called QuickCare and QuickCare Plus — the change will help patients understand their billing and care options.
