- ➤ A memorial has been placed at the crash site near Stadium Drive and South 9th Street — flowers and handwritten notes honor 19-year-old Exzonia Ann Smetana of Paw Paw and 17-year-old Grace Kavanaugh of Kalamazoo, who died after their car lost control at 3:20 a.m. with speeding seen as a factor in the crash.
