Life EMS Ambulance’s Behavioral Health Transport Program, launched in 2022, uses custom-designed SUVs — with features like interior partitions and real-time video monitoring — and special training from Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services to provide safe, respectful care for patients in need. The program has completed over 7,000 transports and will add a tenth vehicle soon to meet growing demand.
