- ➤ Portage Public Safety reported that 34-year-old Kaleb Michael Shaffer, believed responsible for multiple armed robberies at Aldi stores, was arrested on June 4 in Rapid City, South Dakota and extradited to Michigan for arraignment last Friday in Kalamazoo County District Court—he now faces multiple felony charges and is held in Kalamazoo County Jail with bond denied.
