- ➤ Twelve Baskets Food Pantry in Portage is opening its newly renovated community store today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to offer essentials at steep discounts—with many items priced as low as $1—and all proceeds will help support hunger relief as the number of families served continues to rise. WWMT

- ➤ Today, the Cirque Italia Water Circus performs at The Crossroads mall at 6650 S. Westnedge Ave., where acrobatics, death-defying stunts on a submerged platform and dancers in 60s costumes entertain visitors. The circus runs from Friday, June 6th to Sunday, June 8th—featuring six scheduled shows. MLive

- ➤ Police in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo said they do not use license plate readers for immigration checks—Kalamazoo officials suspended outside agency access to camera data after a social media audit—and stressed that local surveillance tools are used solely for public safety. MLive
