  • Governor Whitmer removed lane restrictions from nearly 60% of state road and bridge projects starting Friday at 3 p.m. to ease traffic delays over Memorial Day weekend; some work zones remained active until Tuesday at 6 a.m.  WWMT
  • Michigan senators are reviewing bills aimed at banning surveillance pricing & dynamic pricing to ensure fair deals for buyers. Sen. Mallory McMorrow and Sen. John Cherry say the proposals will protect consumers while retailers voice concerns over possible limits on discounts.  WWMT

  • Legendary NASCAR driver Kyle Busch died from a sudden illness on Wednesday, May 21 at age 41, leaving a strong legacy in West Michigan's racing community. Portage native Carson Hocevar and local fans recalled his passion and generosity during his frequent visits to local tracks.  WWMT
