- ➤ A jury in Kalamazoo is deliberating on the case of Jamyre Cameron Thompson, who faces an open murder charge after a stray bullet killed Mark Jackson when it passed through an apartment door — closing arguments were delivered on April 24 and conflicting testimonies with video evidence were presented on April 25. - ➤ A 21-year-old man from Galesburg, Linsy-Jeremiah Gibson, was arrested for armed robberies of pizza delivery drivers and faces a probable cause conference at 8:30 a.m. May 7 and an examination hearing at 1:30 p.m. May 14 in Kalamazoo County District Court. MLive
