GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Portage city officials lifted the boil water advisory after completing water main repairs and confirming that water samples passed state standards — ending the advisory for the Davis Creek Apartments on the 5400 block of Meredith Street following a leak at 5427 Meredith Street. MLive
- ➤ On Saturday, March 29th, West Michigan residents protested peacefully to show concern over Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s role in politics—hundreds gathered at the Tesla Supercharger near Westnedge and Kilgore Road in Portage while over 100 assembled outside a dealership in Grand Rapids. The demonstrators said their actions were meant to defend the democratic process and express distrust over Musk's political influence. WWMT
