  • Children in grades K–12 join the Salvation Army programs Kzoo Youth Night and The Kickback in Kalamazoo from Monday to Thursday, where they get homework help, play sports, and take part in fun trips in a safe space—an effort teamed with Sinclair Cares.   • Main St. Pub will celebrate its 35th anniversary on March 27 by offering eight original menu items at their 1990 price points at all six locations—this includes the Portage venue.   • The Comstock Fire Department hosted a car seat inspection event Thursday evening to help families prepare for Michigan's updated child passenger safety law that will require rear-facing seats for children under 2 starting April 2.   • AAA warned that increased recreational cannabis use has raised the risk of crashes, injuries, and fatalities—47% of users believe the drug does little to affect driving ability.  WWMT
  • Western Michigan University med student Sheridan Bernard received a $3,000 grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation + the grant will let her speak to Bronson Healthcare emergency department patients about their views on medications for opioid use disorder and the challenges they face.  WKZO
