- ➤ Richland’s Gull Meadow Farms will host the 8th FAI North American Hot Air Balloon Championship from Aug. 17 to Aug. 22, 2027 as part of the Kalamazoo Balloon Fest 15th anniversary — marking the first US championship since 1993. MLive
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Stryker in Portage is working to fix its network after a Wednesday cyberattack that limited access to systems and apps. The company said it does not have a timeline yet for full restoration + will provide updates as more information comes. WWMT
- ➤ Based in Portage, Stryker said a cyber attack in March disrupted its global network but revealed no malware, as the incident was contained to its internal Microsoft system. The company confirmed that orders placed before the attack were processed and clients could safely reach employees by email + phone. MLive
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WMU Sports and Event Management Club will host its inaugural career fair next Friday, Mar. 20, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Wings Event Center—featuring a tour, panel discussion, and Wings hockey game; high school students enter free, with college students and alumni paying a fee. WKZO
