- ➤ Rising tensions in the Middle East drove up oil prices on Monday, Mar. 2, impacting local gas prices. GasBuddy analysts predict that the national average will reach $3 per gallon later this week — affecting drivers' daily commutes. WWMT
- ➤ Triple-A Michigan reported today that the state’s average gas price rose 14¢ to $2.99, with Kalamazoo County prices at $3.01 (local rates range from $2.83 in Marquette to $3.10 in Ann Arbor). WKZO
