- ➤ United Airlines is set to return to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, bringing more travel options for local passengers. The airline plans to resume service soon. WWMT
- ➤ Antique Kitchen in Portage, famed for its six-egg omelets, closed unexpectedly on Sunday but will reopen soon under former owner Jackie Dutton and longtime employee Sheli Walker (with most original staff returning) to revive the family-run diner. MLive
- ➤ United Airlines will return to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport on April 30 (resuming four flights a day to Chicago O’Hare) as airport director Craig Williams announced. The airline ended service on January 3, 2023. WKZO
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Bronson Methodist Hospital confirmed a patient was diagnosed with Legionnaires’ Disease on New Year’s Eve; the hospital worked with state & local health officials, notified patients discharged between Dec. 24 and Jan. 8, 2026, and took steps to secure safe water. WWMT
