SELKIE at Farmers Alley Theatre

About this event

Selkie, a Michigan band of Celtic multi-instrumentalists, offers a night of song, storytelling, and classic dance melodies for an uplifting night at Farmers Alley Theatre. In the spirit of “Come From Away,” their music unites communities in good and hard times, drawing from a tradition born from kitchen parties, village dance halls, and pub sessions across the British Isles and North America. Join us for an intimate evening on the set of “Come From Away” featuring Ireland’s most iconic instruments: harp, uilleann pipes, fiddle, flutes, accordion and more, performed by the members of one of Michigan’s favorite Celtic groups.
